This was too funny - it's great!!! I couldn't stop laughing...I actually am on facebook but I only am linked to people who are really my friends (or family members who are really my friends) and only they can see me. But it's true, some people expect you to friend them when they were total jerks to you and act like nothing ever happened - they don't even try to apologize - they act like you have no feelings.
I resisted Facebook for a really long time. Finally, the curiousity got the better of me and signed on. I love it.
My daughter set up a Twitter account for me without telling me. I received an e-mail with a message that read, "Welcome to Twitter, with a list of people I was following and who were following me. It seems that even if you happen to find someone through their Twitter, you are immediately following. I deleted my account and have no plans to "tweet" in the future!

Luckily, I've only had one person try to friend me that I clicked, "ignore". I'm certain it won't be the last...the World is a twisted place :)
