I believe when they refer to "mainstream", it is more of a term related to acceptance, rather than referring to an organized religion. Paganism is too diverse to be "organized", in my humble opinion.

when I walked out into the "open" in 1996, in order to allow a number of personal prophecies to manifest, I found this reference rather surprising. It seemed "everybody and their dog" had gone spiritualist or neo-pagan which were terms I'd never used. Wicca practitioners abounded everywhere and 'dime store shamen' were a 'dime a dozen'. Its been interesting in the mingling since then...I must say.

Considering cancer to be a disease exacerbated by emotional desires makes me wonder what Isaccs was afraid of......
